Honeybush Lemon Iced Tea

A wonderful treat that can be enjoyed as a cold or hot drink. Here’s a recipe for cooling down during the hot afternoons.

Ingredients

1 litre (4 cups) hot water
3 teabags
2 tablespoons caster sugar
1 cup of ice cubes
2 teaspoons Homefoods Honeybush Lemon Syrup
1 lemon sliced

Method

  • Brew the tea
  • Remove tea bags and stir in sugar and syrup until dissolved
  • Cool to room temperature
  • Refrigerate and pour into a glass of ice cubes
  • Garnish with lemon

The Homefoods Greek Chilli Wrap

The Greek chilli wrap is quick, simple and sensational.

Ingredients

600 grams shredded cooked chicken
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
¼ lettuce sliced
50 grams feta cheese
1 tomato sliced
2 pieces pitta bread
2 Greek black olives pitted
2 green olives pitted
2 Homefoods Chilli Olives

Method

  • Combine chicken with a 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise.
  • Spread the rest over the pitta bread
  • Place lettuce, chicken and tomatoes in the center of the bread
  • Fold the sides in and roll tightly
  • Cut in two

Serves 2/4
