Rooibos is a herbal plant used to make a herbal tea called Rooibos Tea. Rooibos can only be found grown in a small area in the Cedarburg region of the Western Cape province.
Uses
Rooibos is purported to assist with nervous tension, allergies, and digestive problems among others. Traditional medicinal use of rooibos in South Africa includes alleviating infantile colic, allergies, asthma and dermatological problems.

Honeybush is a herbal plant commonly used as an infusion in the same manner as tea. It grows only in a small area in the southwest of South Africa in the Langlauf area of the Eastern Cape and has many similarities with Rooibos. Honeybush is so named because the flowers smell of honey. The taste of honeybush tea is similar to that of rooibos but a little sweeter.

Homefoods Honeybush & Lemon Spread is spread made with the Honeybush Plant as a primary ingredient. With a hint of lemon, this spread goes well with toast, croissants and salads.
